Act as Vertiv’s strategic, trusted advisor across your assigned territories—cultivating C‑level & technical relationships, shaping market-ready solutions, and executing territory-level business growth plans. Own your pipeline, drive revenue, and exceed quota with consultative impact.
Responsibilities
- Territory Strategy & Execution: Develop and deploy data‑driven territory plans aligned with Vertiv territory roadmap and growth targets.
- Pipeline & Forecast Ownership: Maintain 3× quota-level pipeline in CRM; deliver accurate weekly/monthly forecasts.
- Solution‑led Selling: Deliver polished Vertiv presentations to facility/IT managers, architects, procurement—turn technical specs into business value.
- Proposal & RFQ Execution: Craft detailed proposals using Vertiv-approved tools; manage RFQ submissions through negotiation and close.
- Account & Channel Ecosystem Development: Deepen relationships within client organizations and client’s partner eco-system; map decision-makers and executive influencers.
- Market Intelligence & Growth Initiatives: Track competitor activity, identify emerging vertical demand, and pursue new business growth opportunities.
- Industry Engagement: Represent Vertiv at trade shows, industry associations, client forums; increase brand visibility locally.
- Customer Touchpoints: Regular in-field visits, client presentations, account reviews.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, local technical support team, service and procurement to deliver end-to-end customer delight.
- Reporting & Insight Sharing: Provide leadership with win/loss analysis, market trend feedback, and strategic improvement suggestions.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or related field (MBA is a plus).
- 3‑5+ years of B2B technical or account sales (ideal in data center infrastructure, critical power, HVAC or mechanical).
- Proven quota‑achievement, track record, strategic account growth and CRM discipline.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and proposal-writing skills.
- Customer-first mindset, self-starter attitude, and disciplined in multi-priority execution.
- Proficiency MS Office and CRM tools like Salesforce.
- 3-5 years of sales experience in BFSI or BPO verticals, with named accounts or enterprise clients.
- HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical, and/or Engineer/Procure/Construct sales background.
- Experience collaborating with channel partners and multi-regional teams.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer.
