Your impact
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Healthcare Interior Designer to design, plan, and furnish healthcare facilities. The role involves understanding the needs of healthcare environments, creating design concepts, and ensuring the final spaces are both aesthetically pleasing and functional.
Responsibilities
- Develop innovative design concepts tailored to healthcare facilities.
- Create detailed interior plans, including 3D models and specifications.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and healthcare professionals.
- Ensure designs comply with health and safety regulations.
- Select appropriate materials, finishes, and furniture for healthcare settings.
- Oversee installation and inspect completed projects for quality and adherence to design.
- Knowledge of Healthcare Regulations Familiarity with health and safety standards, accessibility guidelines, and infection control measures is crucial.
- Space Planning The ability to design functional layouts that optimize workflow and patient care.
- Material Selection and Specifications Expertise in choosing durable, hygienic, and aesthetically pleasing materials suitable for healthcare environments.
- Color Theory and Lighting Design Understanding how colors and lighting impact mood, healing, and productivity.
- Proficiency in Design Software Skills in tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit for creating detailed plans and 3D models
- Proficiency in Rendering and Presentation Software Skills in tools like Enscape, Lumion, Photoshop, and In-Design for creating presentations, mood boards and walk-through animations.
- Project Management Strong organizational skills to manage timelines, budgets, and coordination with contractors and stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Quick thinking to address design challenges and adapt to evolving project requirements.
- Proven experience in interior design, preferably in healthcare settings.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
