The opportunity

We’re looking for a Tech Recruiter to join our Talent team in the Philippines. You’ll be focused on finding, attracting and hiring top talent across our Technology, Product and Data teams - roles that are critical to building a world-class pet eCommerce platform. From software engineers to product managers, analysts to data scientists, you’ll help us bring in the sharp minds that will power Pet Circle’s next stage of growth.

While your specialty is technical recruitment, you’ll bring a collaborative, “no job too small” mindset - happy to support hiring across other business areas when needed. This is a hands-on role where you’ll partner closely with hiring managers, influence hiring decisions, and deliver an outstanding candidate experience that strengthens our reputation in the market.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading end-to-end recruitment for tech roles: engineering, product, data & analytics, and related functions.
  • Partnering with hiring managers to deeply understand technical role requirements, shape job ads, and design interview processes that test for the right skills and behaviours.
  • Actively sourcing talent in competitive markets — building pipelines through direct outreach, referrals, communities, and networks.
  • Delivering a first-class candidate experience that reflects our values and keeps talent engaged.
  • Providing market insights and data to hiring managers, supporting strong hiring decisions.
  • Collaborating with the wider Talent and People & Culture team to improve processes, tools, and candidate experience.
  • Stepping in to support other recruitment needs across the business when priorities shift.

The ideal toolbox

  • Proven track record as a recruiter, with a strong focus on technology roles (software engineering, product, data/analytics).
  • A flexible, collaborative and humble approach — no ego, willing to support across different functions if required
  • Excellent sourcing skills, with the ability to uncover and engage passive talent in competitive tech markets.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence and guide hiring managers.
  • Highly organised, capable of managing multiple roles and competing priorities.
  • Proficient with ATS and recruitment tools to manage candidates and generate insights.
  • Passionate about building high-performing teams and excited by the impact great tech talent can make.
  • A love of pets (or at least a willingness to hear a lot of pet stories from your colleagues!)

Role location

Our Philippines team are highly autonomous and empowered to do their best work remotely - so you will be working from your home office. You should have a good home office set-up and a reliable internet connection.
