Technical Advisor - (Bakery)

Davao, Philippines

Your Mission

Reporting directly to the Technical Supervisor, you will be responsible to create recipes and concepts for the customers with Marketing and Sales department, promote the quality and advantages of Puratos products, and provide technical solutions, troubleshooting to customers, optimizing production processes, when necessary.

What You Will Do

• Demonstrates the quality and advantages of the Puratos products towards the potential and existing customers. Promote the products according to the Puratos Group strategy;
• Provides expert advice and practical solutions for using Puratos products in bakery, patisserie, and chocolate applications;
• Develops monthly new recipes, concepts and techniques for our products to be able to promote innovative aspect of our products to our customers;
• Provides technical support and assistance for the sales personnel and their customers. To prepare all samples required timely before the scheduled demonstration;
• Coordinates the demo aspects of events e.g innovation days, exhibitions, seminars, trainings and fairs;
• Maintains a map of daily detailed reports regarding the tests and demonstrations conducted; and
• Gathers market information regarding market trends, competitive activity and requirements for the development of new and existing products.
  
  

Required Competencies

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Baking, Food study or equivalent
• Prior experience in a bakery, patisserie, or chocolate environment, at least 3-5 years of work experience
• Passion for innovation and creativity in food applications.
• Technical knowledge or hands-on expertise is essential.
• Hands-on experience in bakery, patisserie, or chocolate production is highly valued.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with a customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to travel regularly in the areas of Visayas and Mindanao.
