Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal and state income tax returns for individuals and small businesses in the US.
- Analyze financial records, including income statements, balance sheets, and expense documents.
- Identify and maximize applicable tax deductions and credits.
- Conduct thorough quality reviews of all tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Provide exceptional client service through clear and concise communication, addressing tax-related inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of US tax laws and regulations.
- Adhere to all professional and ethical standards.
- Effectively manage workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience preparing US individual and small business tax returns (1-3 years for Junior to Mid-level).
- In-depth knowledge of US tax code and regulations.
- Proficient in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- $1,500 - $2,000 USD per month (commensurate with experience)
