Position Title: Tax Officer (IEMOP)
Reports To: Tax Head
Salary Range: PHP 45,000 – 55,000
Work Location: Ortigas, Pasig City
Job Objective
Support tax officers in analyzing company operations and applicable tax criteria.
Coordinate with internal/external parties to resolve tax issues promptly.
Provide guidance to Finance, Accounting, and Operations on tax compliance requirements.
Key Results Areas (KRAs)
Partner with Tax Compliance team to manage tax risks, improve processes, and ensure compliance.
Support implementation of corrective actions for audit findings and collation of tax liabilities.
Ensure compliance with BIR, BOC, LGU, and other regulatory reportorial requirements.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
Monitor and collate documentation for IEMOP transactions (e.g., BIR Forms 2307).
Assist in preparing and filing monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (ARF, EWT, FWT, WVAT, FBT, VAT, ITR).
Reconcile tax returns with accounting records and resolve discrepancies.
Support Other BIR Submissions And Compliance Requirements.
Assist in annual renewal of business permits, LBT payments, and RPT assessments.
Provide assistance during year-end audits and ad hoc projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Proficient in SAP and/or Netsuite.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing tax requirements.
Highly detail-oriented with advanced Excel skills.
Willing to work onsite in Ortigas, Pasig City.
