JOB DESCRIPTION:

YOUR ROLE

The Tax Executive will be responsible for managing the company’s tax obligations in compliance with local and international regulations. This role will support all tax-related activities, including corporate tax, indirect tax (VAT/GST), withholding tax, and airport or travel-related taxes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the aviation industry’s tax environment, and work closely with internal teams and external advisors to ensure tax compliance, planning, and reporting.

WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION:

• Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns (corporate income tax, VAT, service tax, withholding tax, etc.).
• Monitor and manage the airline's indirect tax exposure across domestic and international jurisdictions.
• Liaise with tax authorities for assessments, audits, and inquiries.
• Maintain tax compliance with aviation-specific levies and charges, such as departure taxes, airport charges, and fuel taxes.
• Work closely with Finance, Legal, and Operations teams to ensure tax considerations are factored into commercial contracts and international operations.
• Assist in transfer pricing documentation and intercompany transaction reviews.
• Provide support in tax planning strategies to optimize tax liabilities.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and evaluate their impact on the business.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing process from a tax perspective.
• Maintain accurate tax records and documentation for internal and external audit purposes.

WHO YOU ARE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in business finance or accounting ; aviation or transportation sector experience is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
