The Tax Assistant supports the tax department with a range of administrative and technical tasks. This position is vital for the accurate and timely preparation, filing and compliance of various tax returns and related documents.
- Assist in the preparation and review of tax returns, including VAT, Expanded Withholding Tax, Final Withholding Tax, and Income Tax.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax filings and payments to avoid penalties.
- Monitor tax deadlines and maintain a compliance calendar to ensure all fillings are completed on time.
- Help maintain and organize all tax-related documents and records for audit purposes.
- Assist in the research of tax laws and regulations to ensure the company remains compliant.
- Provide administrative support during tax assessments and audits by organizing necessary documentation.
- Communicate with internal departments and clients to address basic tax-related inquiries.
- Perform other tax or accounting-related duties as assigned by the senior tax staff or management.
