The purpose of this role is to support the talent acquisition team to attract, engage and hire the very best talent into the organisation. This is a service delivery role partnering closely with hiring managers, interviewers, candidates, recruiters, and other stakeholders to help ensure an exceptional candidate experience. This role has a strong focus on candidate communication, candidate management, and customer service.

What your typical day will look like:

The Junior Recruiter is responsible for supporting the end-to-end recruitment process. They have ownership and accountability for developing effective long-term recruiting processes to support talent acquisition administration (including role advertising, contract generation, market mapping and entry level recruitment) and nurturing relationships with their internal stakeholders.

End to End Recruitment

Manage and coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process for all vacancies including;

  • Participate in a Job Brief with the Hiring Manager for all new vacancies
  • Activate an appropriate job advertising and sourcing strategy, dependent on the position, to proactively source and attract talent
  • Screen candidates from advertising sources (e.g. who applied through an advertisement) and respond to applicants via the Workday or Smart Recruiters ATS in a timely manner
  • Submit a shortlist of suitable candidates to the Hiring Manager in the agreed timeframe
  • Manage and coordinate the interview process
  • Follow up and maintain good relationships with Hiring Managers and candidates
  • Manager the offer stage with the candidate and Hiring Manager


Candidate care

  • Provide candidates with a positive experience, regardless of the selection outcome, to ensure they are positive representatives for dentsu and the hiring Brand.
  • Provide timely updates and honest and professional feedback to candidates. Depending on the stage of the selection process and relationship (e.g. internal or external) with the candidate this may be via email, telephone or face-to-face.


Managing internal stakeholders

  • Act as a trusted Coordinator, communicating a shared vision to engage stakeholders in the achievement of enterprise goals.
  • Attend resourcing/WIP meetings to understand the short and long term talent needs.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition staff to help educate and ensure recruitment compliance from all managers
  • Ensure recruitment best practice is followed including; consistent updates to managers, reducing costs, ensure all TA activity is compliant.
  • Increase Workday job requisition compliance and knowledge for Hiring Managers.
  • Maintain up-to-date records in Workday or Smart Recruiters ATS to provide visibility to all internal stakeholders on current metrics and activity.


Compliance

  • Use the dentsu tools available throughout the end-to-end selection process, including the Workday or Smart Recruiters ATS
  • Adhere to dentsu processes & administration requirements.
  • Adhere to dentsu approval processes including that the position must be approved in Workday before hiring.
  • All talent pooling activity must be recorded in the Workday ATS.
  • Use the Job Advertisement template when posting advertisements on dentsu sourcing channels.
  • References and background checks must be checked (and escalated if applicable) for each new hire.
  • Contract request must be initiated, signed and returned before the candidate starts.


Brand Ambassador

  • Post appealing and brand compliant advertisements
  • Use appropriate presence on social media to help boost the Brand/s and dentsu brand


A bit about you:

  • At least 6 months experience gained through agency, RPO or in-house recruitment
  • Experience using tools such as MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams), Linkedin Recruiter, Workday, Smart Recruiters
  • Solid understanding of the end-to-end recruitment process.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel and Outlook skills.
  • Strong communication and organization skills.
  • Ability to manage a fluid work load.
