Job Description:
Technical
1. Installs, configures and troubleshoots any network appliance listed in the approved list of supported products.
2. Provides accurate and reliable resolutions to problems of the client.
3. Applies best practices in implementing and providing support and recommendation.
Shared Responsibilities
1. Provides support for clients under 24x7 MA.
2. Provides tests and evaluates new products.
3. Assists other engineers in providing solutions that involves enterprise application support solution.
Reporting
1. Reports to team leader/project leader of his/her day to day activity.
2. Compiles and submits accomplishment reports to team leader.
3. Documents processes and system configuration.
4. Coordinates problems encountered in the system to team leader and other departments to ensure smooth flow of service.
Others
1. Conducts in-house and customer relations training.
2. Conducts in-house orientation for new engineers.
3. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Preferably graduate of bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or any other IT related courses.
- Familiar in using MS Excel, Visio, and MS word for reporting.
- With good oral and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated individual who can work independently, take ownership, and organize workflow to concurrently meet multiple milestones and deadlines.
- Must be trainable and fast learner.
- Must be independent and willing to work on extended hours.
- Fresh graduate with good scholastic records will be considered.
- With knowledge in Microsoft Servers; Active Directory Setup and Exchange Server.
- CCNA Certification is an advantage but not required.
- Experienced in any of the following is an advantage but not required: Cisco UC, Mitel/ShoreTel, Polycom or any similar products.
