Benchmark 365 is on the lookout to employ a System Administrator to join our service desktop team in our Cebu Business Park Office.

The role provides for high exposure to the latest technology, formal qualification training and a great work environment.

The right candidate will be:

  • Already working in an equivalent System Administrator role for at least 12 months
  • At least 5 years in the IT industry
  • Someone with a great attitude and loves working in a team environment with other dedicated IT pros.
  • Excellent at customer service, written and oral English communication skills and a patient demeanor.
  • Loving a challenge and can work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to multi-task to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Eager to learn and progress in your career by working with new and exciting technologies.

You’ll already be skilled in:

  • Intermediate knowledge of server operating systems
  • Intermediate knowledge of terminal service operating environments
  • Intermediate knowledge of virtualization technologies
  • Intermediate knowledge of email and messaging systems
  • Intermediate network troubleshooting skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft desktop operating systems
  • Advanced installation and troubleshooting skills in relation to IT peripherals such as printers, models, smartphones, internet / modem / router.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office platforms
  • Advanced knowledge of installing or troubleshooting line of business applications such as accounting software, legal software, project management or ERP platforms.
  • Advanced knowledge of Active Directory.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Office 365 product suites
  • Advanced experience with remote desktop or remote-control tools such as TeamViewer
  • Advanced experience with creating, updating and reviewing documentation and IT / network diagrams.

Duties and Responsibilities

As a service desk System Administrator II, you will be responsible for:

  • Triage and complete technical concerns by communicating with end users and vendors via phone and email.
  • Accurately record time and effort spent working on client systems
  • Maintain up to date records and documentation at all times in the ticketing system
  • Work on Windows, Office, Exchange, On-Premises and Active Directory.
  • Manage and maintain virtual cloud IT environments.
  • Assist in core LOB applications.
  • Operate on complex troubleshooting involving servers, firewalls and network related tickets.
  • Provide escalation support to team members in a non-traditional Level 1/2/3 escalation process.
  • Document of all key IT systems.
  • Stay up to date on Benchmark 365’s products and integrations.
  • Perform Ad hoc Tasks – improve technical process within Benchmark365, advise on platform downtime, recommend process and policies and report ticket failures.
  • The Systems Administrator is a service desk function reporting directly to the Service Delivery Manager
