We are looking for a Symfony Developer – Cebu, Philippines

We are currently seeking an experienced Symfony Developer to join our team. If you enjoy building scalable, high-quality web applications and want to work on meaningful projects, we’d love to hear from you.

Who are we looking for?

• You have commercial experience in developing applications with Symfony (preferably 5/6).
• 
  
• You write clean, well-structured, and efficient PHP code following SOLID principles.
• 
  
• You are comfortable working with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and writing optimized queries.
• 
  
• You can integrate with third-party APIs and services (REST, SOAP, GraphQL).
• 
  
• You understand and apply best practices for security, performance, and maintainability.
• 
  
• You can work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively with project managers and clients.
• 
  
• You are comfortable working in English (minimum B2 level – reading documentation and team communication).
• 
  
• You can manage your workload independently and solve problems creatively.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and maintaining web applications based on Symfony framework.
• 
  
• Implementing new features and integrating them with existing systems.
• 
  
• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• 
  
• Creating and maintaining database structures and optimizing queries.
• 
  
• Integrating external services and APIs (e.g. payment systems, ERP, CRM).
• 
  
• Debugging and troubleshooting technical issues.
• 
  
• Ensuring application security, scalability, and performance.
• 
  
• Collaborating with the project team (PMs, designers, testers, marketers).
• 
  
• Participating in code reviews and sharing knowledge with the team.
