Drink Sustainability Communications is looking for a full-time Sustainability Associate. If you are passionate about sustainability, results-driven, motivated to learn, and enjoy working in a team environment, Drink would like to hear from you!
With the goal of telling stories that inspire action and fuel change, Drink is dedicated to helping MSMEs, private corporations, NGOs, and government units find effective and creative ways to make sustainability accessible to everyone. Drink meets clients where they are in their sustainability journey and helps them move forward with purpose.
Responsibilities
- Handles key components of sustainability reporting and communications projects, handling low-to-mid complexity accounts. Executes key project phases such as sustainability onboarding sessions, stakeholder analysis, materiality assessments, data gathering, analysis, validation, and quality assurance, while aligning outputs with project expectations and timelines.
- Applies relevant sustainability frameworks and reporting standards to structure content and guide clients in their disclosures.
- Contributes to project planning and internal discussions by identifying risks, resolving minor challenges, and aligning deliverables with project goals.
- Coordinates with editorial and design teams, ensuring reporting content is integrated and aligned across functions.
- Supports quality assurance by reviewing outputs for consistency and participating in project evaluations and post-mortems.
- Suggests improvements to internal processes, tools, or templates to support team efficiency and consistency.
- Supports the preparation of client materials and may join selected client discussions to gain insight into strategic directions and reporting expectations.
- Contributes to the development of Drink’s broader sustainability-related initiatives and services beyond reporting.
Qualifications
- BS Degree in Environmental Planning / Environmental Management / Environmental Science or other related discipline
- Familiar with GRI Standards or Certified GRI Standards Reporter, is an advantage.
- Experience in research and data gathering
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, transparent, accountable, and adaptable to working in a fast-paced collaborative environment
- Excellent organizational skills, data management and analysis abilities, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace & Microsoft 365 suites
