Job Summary:

The Change Analyst will be responsible for supporting account operations company wide. Duties include the following. Create inventory impact reports for changes to orders. Review and identify changes to customer orders including Bill of material Changes. Support various data analysis and administrative activities. Detailed knowledge analytic software including Microsoft Excel.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Change Analyst: Level 1, Entry level

  • Collect and format inventory reports including on hand/on order/demand for all sites.
  • Provide inventory demand reports for all claims and cancellations (E&O).
  • Provide comparisons of single and multi-level BOMS (Bill of material Changes) to identify material changes.
  • Work together with change originators to correct issues with change submissions.
  • Internal escalations to Supervisor upon recognition system failure to implement changes.

SR Change Analyst: Level 2, +1-years of experience, plus:

  • Perform Level 1 tasks without supervision.
  • Act as point of contact for requests from internal customers.
  • May perform duties as an ECO Coordinator.
  • Provide training to Change Analysts members to review and approve ECO’s.
  • Perform training for employees reviewing claims.
  • Work together with Account Operations program managers to provide claim assessments.
  • Internal escalations to Supervisor when changes are not implemented.

Change Engineer: Level 3, +2 years of experience, plus:

  • Perform duties as ECO Coordinator or Change Analyst.
  • Maintain CCB log.
  • Conduct CCB meetings.
  • Maintain Claims log for site.
  • Review claims to determine material to be claimed with customer.
  • Maintain, update and report Claims metrics.
  • Create and update training documents for CCB and claim processes.
  • Provide training to Level 1 and 2 employees.
  • Review current processes for continuous improvement process (CIP) activities, recommend process improvements to supervisor/manager.

SR Change Engineer Level 4, +3-years of experience, plus:

  • Perform Level 3 tasks without supervision.
  • Effectively manage CCB activities.
  • Conduct claim review meetings with site personal.
  • Training:
    • Provide training to CCB members to review and approve ECO’s.
    • Perform training for new employees for quoting and claims.
Change Supervisor: +4-years of experience, plus:

  • May be a people manager and have direct reports.
  • Review, update and submit training document changes to QMS system.
  • Provide training to other departments as required.
  • Responsible for execution of strategic initiatives and CIP activities

Change Manager: +5-years of experience, plus:

  • People manager with direct reports at multiple sites.
  • Approve training document changes to QMS system.
  • Manage resources to accomplish team responsibilities.
  • Review, manage and approve strategic initiatives and CIP activities.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer service orientation
  • Ability to work effectively with all departments and other groups to ensure that site On Time delivery and quality goals and objectives are met.
  • Must be able to read technical details on a weldment print.
  • Experience with weldment manufacturing is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to use ERP estimating systems such as Visual, Vista, Oracle, etc. MS Excel, Word, and Access.

Educational/Certification Requirement:

  • Engineering Degree or equivalent work experience in Engineering discipline for level 1-2.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Engineering/technical discipline for level 3-Manager.

Experience Requirement:

Work Experience:

  • 2-5 years’ quoting and weldment manufacturing Level 1-2.
  • 5+ years’ experience in DC/Engineering services in a semiconductor or similar industry Level 3 and supervisor position.
  • 5 years’ experience managing personnel and projects for manager position.

Environmental Exposure:

  • Subject to frequent interruptions.
  • May involve exposure to moderate noise levels from printers, faxes, computer etc.
  • Subject to hazards including electrical current, moving mechanical parts, and exposure to chemicals and debris.

Overnight Travel:

  • None

Work Schedule:

Due to the nature of the work and the fact that UCT is a U.S. based company, flexible scheduling is required; the supervisor will accommodate work schedules to meet department and business needs and will advise employee with as much time as possible ahead of schedule change. Flexible schedules can be unpredictable. Special circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis by management.
