Your Role

The primary purpose of the Development Infrastructure Support Engineer is to ensure the optimal performance and availability of Kuehne + Nagel's IT infrastructure, providing services for continuous integration and delivery for cross-functional teams of developers, testers and business analysts. The role focuses on maintaining robust infrastructure solutions that support the company's logistics operations globally. The engineer is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure issues to minimize downtime and ensure seamless operations. Additionally, the role contributes to the digital transformation strategy by deploying modern technologies and automation solutions.

Your Responsibilities

• Operates primarily in a dynamic office environment, providing support via video conference, email and chat.
• Engages in collaborative work with IT teams and logistics departments, utilizing advanced productivity and development software to stay abreast of technological advancements.
• Collaborates closely with IT colleagues, infrastructure teams and external vendors to ensure seamless integration and operation of IT infrastructure within the logistics framework.
• Handles technical requests and questions about Continuous Integration and Delivery pipelines.
• Monitors and maintains build pipeline infrastructure to ensure optimal functionality, promptly addressing any issues to minimize operational disruptions.
• Coordinates handling of support tickets.
• Maintains tutorials and documentation for technical solutions.
  
  

Your Skills And Experiences

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or in any related field.
• Strong understanding of IT Infrastructure and operations.
• Demonstrates experience in managing and maintaining complex IT Systems, including CI/CD, Jenkins and AWS components, preferably within the logistics industry.
• Exhibits proficiency in modern technologies and automation tools, with a commitment to continuous learning and adaptation to emerging trends in IT and Logistics.
