Job Title: Sports Data Analyst (Hockey Focused)

Salary: $1,500/month

Location: Remote, Philippines-based

Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday (No weekends)

Overview

We are seeking a Sports Data Analyst to join our team and support our subscription-based website that focuses on youth hockey analytics. The ideal candidate will help transform data into visually appealing reports, graphs, and insights, making them accessible and engaging for our users. You’ll be responsible for analyzing data from various sources, creating concise game reports, and maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency. If you have a knack for numbers, a love for sports, and the ability to turn raw data into valuable insights, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and input data for 10-15 metrics per game from two websitesinto our predefined templates.
• Create visually appealing graphs and charts to display game analytics and player performance.
• Publish tournament reports and game summaries on our website, ensuring data is clean, accurate, and well-presented.
• Process data for up to 200 games per day, with each game taking 3-5 minutes to analyze after training.
• Post daily Instagram updates with brief recaps and insights based on the data reports.
• Provide player comparison reports and assist in generating player improvement insights as requested by subscribers.
  
  

Requirements

• Previous experience in data analysis, ideally in a sports-related role.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using spreadsheets for data entry and graph creation.
• Ability to work efficiently and manage a high volume of data inputs.
• Familiarity with social media platforms, especially Instagram, for posting updates.
• Strong communication skillsand the ability to present data in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
