About The Role

Reporting into the Team Lead - Maritime Freight Execution, as a Freight Execution specialist you will contribute to voyage execution, operations (voyage management), and process performance.

As Part Of This Role, You Will

• Records the financial impact of the Group's routine and non-routine activities and monitors the integrity of the Group's financial information through maintaining the general ledger, in accordance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Completes voyage management activities to execute work in alignment with KPIs.
• Executes and optimises shipping practices by applying material, ship and port knowledge.
• Applies an understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain to enhance efficiency, drive optimisation, and maximise value.
• Determines the underlying cause of problems and evaluates multiple solutions to ensure a planned and structured approach to solving complex problems.
• Identifies, engages and manages a range of diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Gains support for and negotiates outcomes that achieve mutually beneficial goals.
• Applies an understanding of terms and conditions, laws, regulations and guidelines when conducting day-to-day work activities to reduce likelihood of financial/reputational risk and liabilities.
• Identifies, implements and evaluates the success of continuous improvement activities/initiatives to improve the safety, effectiveness and efficiency of BHP systems and processes.
• Applies an understanding of the business context, BHP operating model and ways of working to enhance decision making, productivity and value chain performance.
  
  

About You

• Language Skills: Proficient in Mandarin both verbal and written
• Bachelor of Science in Maritime Transportation, or a related field.
• Experienced in Laytime Management from creation of Laytime Statement to Billing
• An experience in a similar role, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) – Knowledgeable of PowerApps is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
