Role Overview
The Benefits Specialist role primarily focuses on handling government benefits, specifically SSS and HDMF loans. This role ensures the accuracy and efficiency of data input and maintenance for employee loan records, and closely coordinates with employees and the government agencies to ensure timely deductions of loan information.

Educational Qualification
The Benefits Specialist role primarily focuses on handling government benefits, specifically SSS and HDMF loans. This role ensures the accuracy and efficiency of data input and maintenance for employee loan records, and closely coordinates with employees and the government agencies to ensure timely deductions of loan information.
Specific Duties And Responsibilities
- End-to-end processing of government loans (SSS, HDMF) including certifying new loans, liaising with employees to ensure proper deduction of existing loans, creation of authority to deduct, processing of loan transfers
- Processing employee loan disputes with SSS and HDMF
- Auditing monthly HDMF loan records
- Maintain trackers for government loans
- Processing of MP2 requests
- Monitoring government contributions (SSS, PHIC, HDMF)
- Process payroll requirements on a bi-monthly basis
- Facilitate Masterfile updates for payroll purposes
- Process Benefits exit clearance for separated employees in relation to government benefits (SSS, HDMF)
- Process government benefit claims and reimbursements (SSS)
- Process member information updates (SSS/PhilHealth/HDMF)
- Process consolidation of member records to HDMF
- Prepare PhilHealth documents (COC, CF1, and MDR) on a per-request basis.
- Visit government agencies (SSS and HDMF) to address critical cases, as needed.
- Maintain and organize files, reports and other documents.
- Answer employee queries within capacity
- Coordinate regularly with various groups within the organization.
- Ad-hoc tasks, as required.
Core Competencies (Must-have Competencies)
- Must have experience with handling SSS and HDMF processes
- Proficient at Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to handle confidential data and information
- Must be extremely organized and able to multi-task in a very fast paced environment
- Must have keen attention to detail
- Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with all levels of individuals
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor of Psychology or related allied courses
- Over one (1) year of experience in a Compensation and Benefits role
- Willing to work full-time, primarily daytime hours in a 24/7 operation (possible evening, weekend, and holiday work may be required, depending on peak periods)
- Good performance and attendance reliability
