SUMMARY

Under general guidance and within the limits of the established process, procedure and policies of the MIS department, is responsible in researching, designing, implementing, and managing software programs & system, identifying areas for improvement in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications, maintaining and upgrading existing systems to optimize the role of technology on business sustainability and assist and perform duties required by the nature of position or directed by Superior.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

I. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT

  1. Perform day-to-day administration of purchased systems, maintenance, support, and troubleshooting activities through prioritization of requests.
  2. Create configurations and customizations to meet business needs.
  3. Provide support and user training across departments for the system and other software programs & system.
  4. Familiarize with the System dashboard and provide users with relevant reports and KPIs.
  5. Support data import process and migration.
  6. Assist back up files for finance and accounting system etc.
  7. Develop, test, and deploy customizations, custom objects, and third-party applications.
  8. Customize and maintain reports, dashboards, and save searches, and execute improvements.
  9. Maintaining and upgrading existing systems.
  10. Implement and manage workflow rules, approval processes, page layouts, security, user access and permission, validation rules, email, and custom buttons/links.
  11. Writing and implementing efficient code based on specifications.
  12. Support the configuration, development, and continued evolution of the company processes.
  13. Provide on-going systems and technical support for the system.
  14. Assist employees in any troubleshooting software programs & system access.
  15. Liaise with different departments and multiple business disciplines.
  16. Work with end-users to understand business needs to identify best solutions.

REPORTING AND OTHERS

  1. Assist the superior in tasks related to software programs & system access.
  2. Create technical documentation for reference and reporting.
  3. Assist all employees in concern like debug program, error on system.
  4. Assist POS system, ATG System, NetSuite system and etc.
  5. Facilitate canvass and purchase of IT related software and system.
  6. Perform other duties as required by the nature of position or as directed by Superior.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • With Diploma or Certificate on Information Technology, Computer Technical Services or relevant field; Certificate as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g. CompTIA A, Microsoft Certified IT Professional)
  • Have undergone trainings and seminars related to the job
  • Proven experience as IT technician or relevant position.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent communication ability;
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills;
  • In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks;
  • Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles;
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and a variety of internet applications, networks and operating systems;
  • Great troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail.
