Who are we looking for?
We're looking for a Software Developer to join our Global Software Solutions Center team.
This following is a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Design, code, test, and deploy software applications. Ensure that your code meets the highest standards of quality and performance
- Take ownership of your tasks and projects. Ensure timely completion and proactively address any issues that arise
- Work independently and manage your workload effectively. Seek out opportunities for improvement and take initiative in your work
- Work closely with team members, including senior leaders and peers. Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and team discussions
- Maintain clear and concise communication with team members and stakeholders. Provide regular updates on your progress and seek feedback to improve
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills
- Minimum education of university degree or postgraduate qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 2-4 years of professional experience in software development
- Proven track record of designing, coding, testing, and deploying software applications
- Experience working in Agile development environments and participating in Agile ceremonies
- Proficiency in C# and .NET framework
- Knowledge of ASP.NET, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Proficiency of front-end frameworks like Angular. Nice to have understanding of other SPA framework like Vue.js or React
- Experience with relational databases such as MSSQL, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git
- Exposure to cloud services such as Azure Functions, Blob Storage, and SQL
