Summary

The Communications Specialist reports to the SVP of Corporate Communications. This role supports the planning and management of all corporate social media channels, the amplification of local corporate philanthropy efforts and the strategy of the Communications team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Create engaging content for LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Instagram and YouTube.
  • Manage global social media and implement a strategy in-line with our brand mission.
  • Amplify local philanthropic efforts.
  • Implement social media strategy in-line with our brand mission.
  • Monitor social listening on all channels.
  • Manage social media customer support.
  • Track social media performance and analyze data for monthly reporting.
  • Actively engage with our online community by responding to comments.
  • Cross-collaboration with the Marketing and Creative teams.
  • Conduct online review audits and manage responses.
  • Support Social Media Manager with corporate messaging and copywriting.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of job-related experience.
  • College degree required.


Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Knowledge of social media platforms and tools.
  • Copywriting skills.
  • Organized with good time management.


Physical Demands and Working Conditions

The employee must have the ability to operate a personal computer and express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word. May be required to sit and/or stand for long periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. May be required to lift or move 10+ pounds.
