Job Overview: We are looking for a talented and creative Social Media and Long-Form Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in creating engaging social media content and producing high-quality long-form videos that resonate with our audience. This role requires expertise in video editing, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for storytelling to effectively communicate our brand's message and values. The position is remote, but the candidate must be available to work during California business hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and produce engaging video content for various social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok) and long-form content for platforms like YouTube.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop video content strategies that align with our brand voice and marketing goals.
• Create visually appealing and cohesive videos, including promotional videos, tutorials, product showcases, and more.
• Manage the entire video production process, from concept development and scriptwriting to editing and final delivery.
• Utilize video editing software and tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) to produce high-quality videos with a focus on visual and auditory appeal.
• Optimize video content for different platforms, ensuring appropriate formats, resolutions, and aspect ratios.
• Stay updated on social media trends and best practices to ensure our video content remains relevant and engaging.
• Monitor and analyze video performance metrics (e.g., views, engagement rates) to inform future content creation strategies.
• Ensure all video content adheres to brand guidelines and industry standards.
• Collaborate with graphic designers, copywriters, and other team members to ensure cohesive and effective messaging.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Film, Video Production, Media, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of professional experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio showcasing both social media and long-form video work.
• Expert proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects.
• In-depth understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and audience preferences.
• Exceptional storytelling abilities with a knack for creating visually captivating content.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen sense of visual aesthetics.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
