About The Team

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to join the ShopeePay Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the reconciliation of all ShopeePay financial transactions is conducted in strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Additionally, you will be tasked with identifying opportunities for process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transaction Reconciliation Oversight: Ensure the accurate and timely reconciliation of all

financial transactions within the e-wallet platform, verifying that each is consistent with relevant

financial records and systems.

  • Compliance with SOPs: Monitor adherence to established Standard Operating Procedures

(SOPs) during the reconciliation process, ensuring all transactions are processed in compliance

with internal guidelines and regulatory standards.

  • Audit and Quality Checks: Conduct periodic audits and quality checks on transaction processes

to identify any discrepancies, errors, or inefficiencies that may arise, ensuring operational

integrity.

  • Process Improvement: Work closely with the Finance Operations team to identify bottlenecks

and suggest improvements for enhancing operational efficiency and minimizing reconciliation

discrepancies.

  • Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports on reconciliation activities, identifying areas of

concern and proposing solutions for improvement. Present findings to management for further

action.

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including Compliance, Product, Finance,

Tax, Automation unit) to address any issues that may impact the reconciliation process or

overall financial operations.

  • Training & Support: Provide guidance and training to team members on reconciliation

procedures, SOPs, and best practices for financial operations.

  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to transaction errors or compliance issues and

recommend corrective actions to mitigate financial risk and ensure process reliability.

  • Continuous Monitoring: Ensure that all financial operations comply with industry regulations

and internal control procedures by continuously monitoring processes and suggesting

improvements

Requirements

Experience:

  • At least 2-4 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Auditing or Finance Operations within the e-wallet, fintech, or financial services industry.

Skills

  • Expertise in reviewing and ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to report findings and work with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong focus on precision and accuracy, especially when identifying discrepancies in financial transactions.
  • Knowledge of financial transaction systems and tools.

Certifications (Preferred But Not Required)

  • Finance-related certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, or related).
  • Quality management or auditing certifications (e.g., ISO 9001 or equivalent)
