Job Description
- Manage and optimize ServiceNow CMDB and Discovery operations, ensuring adherence to SLAs
- Configure and fine-tune Discovery patterns and schedules to accurately map IT infrastructure
- Develop integrations using REST, SOAP APIs, and web services to enrich CMDB data
- Implement and maintain service graph connectors and system plugins
- Create and monitor data quality reports and dashboards
- Lead projects and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
- Implement automation solutions for data import and synchronization
- Mentor junior team members and collaborate in an Agile environment
- 4-8 years of experience with minimum 4 years hands-on CMDB and Discovery expertise
- Bachelor's degree in related field (Advanced degree may be preferred)
- Must hold certifications in:
- ServiceNow Fundamentals
- ServiceNow Discovery Fundamentals
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Discovery
- CMDB Fundamentals
- ITILv4 Foundations
- Strong technical proficiency in ServiceNow, Cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)
- Expert knowledge of JavaScript, Unix shell scripting, Windows scripting, PowerShell, Perl, or Python
- Experience with service graph connectors and API integration (REST, SOAP)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
