The Growth team is a 30+ cross-functional group made up of product, growth, engineering, design and marketing professionals who support one another to achieve the biggest impact possible. About the role
We're looking for a strategic and data-driven SEO Keyword Researcher to play a central role in shaping our organic growth efforts. At VEED, SEO is a key driver of both content performance and product discovery. In this role, you will own the entire keyword research lifecycle - from identifying high-impact opportunities and gaps, to developing topic clusters that inform our content roadmap, landing page strategy, and marketing efforts.
You'll collaborate closely with content writers, SEO specialists, product teams, and acquisition marketers to ensure our keyword strategy aligns with both user intent and business goals. Your insights will drive not only traffic and visibility, but also conversions, helping VEED maintain its competitive edge in an evolving search landscape shaped by AI-driven results and rapidly changing SERP behavior.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of data, strategy, and execution and wants to play a critical part in how millions of users discover VEED.
What you will do
As VEED's SEO Keyword Researcher, you won't just run keyword reports - you'll be part of a team leading the discovery engine behind our entire SEO strategy. This role demands precision, creativity, and deep search expertise. You'll shape how millions of users find our tools, products, and content through organic search by building keyword systems that scale and uncover opportunities others can't see.
- Lead keyword research for everything SEO at VEED - including landing pages, blog content, AI tools, and product-related pages.
- Find the right keywords with real business impact, taking into account user intent, customer journey, and what drives conversions.
- Build clear topic clusters and keyword maps that show where to focus, what to write about, and how to cover topics thoroughly.
- Proactively monitor keyword performance and rankings to spot issues early - whether it's traffic drops, cannibalization, or missed intent - and fix them before they impact results.
- Track SERP changes and emerging trends, like AI Overviews or new search formats, and adjust strategies to stay ahead of Google's search evolution.
- Create frameworks, dashboards, and reports to help teams understand keyword performance and what to prioritize next.
- Work closely with content, product, growth, and design teams to make sure we're creating the right pages and building SEO into everything we launch.
- Shape smart internal linking strategies that boost rankings, avoid keyword overlap, and guide users to the right content.
- Help scale programmatic SEO projects by spotting keyword patterns that allow us to build high-performing pages in bulk.
- Act as the go-to expert for keyword research at VEED—setting the standard for quality, insight, and execution across all SEO work.
- You have 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience, with deep expertise in keyword research, search intent analysis, and building content strategies that drive growth.
- You're highly skilled with SEO tools like Ahrefs, GSC, Semrush, and Screaming Frog, and you know how to turn data into action.
- You're analytical by nature, comfortable working with large datasets, spotting patterns, and using insights to shape keyword strategies that align with business goals.
- You think strategically about how people search - mapping keywords to different funnel stages, building clusters, and ensuring content has both depth and structure.
- You collaborate well with others - whether it's content writers, product managers, designers, or developers - and can move projects forward in cross-functional teams.
- You're a clear communicator who can explain SEO ideas in simple terms, even to people who don't live in the world of search.
- You're self-motivated and comfortable working remotely, managing your time and priorities independently in an async-first setup.
- Bonus: You've worked in SaaS, AI, or high-growth startups, and understand the pace, ambiguity, and opportunity that come with it.
