Our client in the cybersecurity industry is looking for a Senior Security Analyst to join their Managed Services team. The Senior Security Analyst will be responsible for overseeing all security aspects of the customer's managed security environment and ensuring a positive customer experience. They will utilize their technical expertise and demonstrate polite and professional etiquette in their interactions with customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate leadership in areas of the Customer Service engagement
  • Identify Opportunities for improving client security posture
  • Investigate Security Incidents to determine cause and provide details to clients
  • Express in-depth knowledge of industry-wide attacks, exploits and vulnerabilities
  • Provide proactive analysis of customer intrusions, incidents, and vulnerabilities
  • Provide interpretation and technical security guidance to assist with customer remediation
  • Demonstrate Technical Knowledge to both customer and internal parties
  • Ability to lead Weekly / Bi-Weekly Status Calls with both customer and internal parties
  • Demonstrate leadership in areas of the Customer Service engagement


Skills & Knowledge Qualifications:

  • Strong background in Information security
  • In-Depth understanding of reading & articulating system logs
  • Network security architecture and design
  • SIEM, Syslog and other logging applications
  • Routers and access control devices
  • TCP/IP networking
  • Cisco network security products
  • LogRhythm SIEM products
  • Fortinet Security products
  • VMWare Carbon Black products
  • EDR / XDR Platform Knowledge (SentinelOne or Defender)


Required:

  • 3 or more years experience in a Information Security or Security Analyst Role
  • Highly Proficient in written & communication in English


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or Computer Science
  • Certification(s) such as CompTIA (CySA or Sec+), GIAC (GSEC, GCIH, GCFA, etc.); Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented approach to tasks and responsibilities
