Your Role:

As a Quality Assurance (QA) Tester, you will:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to verify software functionality.
• Perform manual and automated testing to identify defects and ensure software meets quality standards.
• Collaborate with the development team and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery of bug fixes.
• Document test results, track defects, and provide feedback to improve overall product quality.
• Create User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test scripts and assist in the UAT Testing Phase.
• Coordinate and lead bug triage activities between the Tech team, external vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Work with the Quality Assurance Manager or Team Lead to create overall Test Strategy for key projects.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to highlight key risks that may impact delivery.
• Follow and ensure Test Governance processes are applied.
• Assist in BAU (Business As Usual) ad hoc regression testing before production releases, on a case-to-case basis.
• Create regression testing protocols for existing applications to monitor production and release cycles.
• Provide monthly timesheets with work and task breakdowns.
• Generate test reports for review during monthly or sprint reporting.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies like Sprint Planning, Estimation, sprint reviews, sprint retrospectives, workshops, and daily scrums.

What You Need:

Non-negotiables:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance and software testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in using QA tools and software testing frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.

Preferred skills/expertise/experience:

• Experience with agile and/or scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with insurance industry concepts and systems.
