Overview:

The Senior Product Specialist for Enterprise Onboarding will lead the strategy, development, and execution of Maya’s Enterprise Merchant Onboarding platform. You will drive seamless, compliant, and scalable onboarding experiences for large, SME, and micro merchants, enabling them to activate payment acceptance faster and with less friction. This role sits at the intersection of product, risk, compliance, engineering, and partnerships—ensuring that Maya’s acquiring onboarding capabilities are competitive, secure, and merchant-first.


What you will do:

  • Define and drive the strategic roadmap for enterprise merchant onboarding
  • Align onboarding initiatives with business acquisition goals and go-to-market plans
  • Identify friction points in current onboarding flows and lead end-to-end redesigns
  • Lead the full product lifecycle: discovery, design, build, launch, and optimize
  • Design scalable onboarding journeys for different merchant profiles (aggregators, large chains, and other platforms)
  • Balance automation and compliance requirements in collaboration with Risk & Legal teams
  • Own KYC/KYB experiences as part of Enterprise onboarding, integrations with external systems (e.g., AML tools, credit engines), and internal tools for Ops
  • Own product provisioning, order management and fulfillment of various products in the lifecycle
  • Define success metrics for onboarding efficiency, conversion, and time-to-activate
  • Leverage data analytics and funnel analytics to identify drop-offs and operational bottlenecks
  • Partner with Data teams to track, report, and drive continuous optimization of onboarding funnels
  • Define and streamline the end-to-end process for provisioning payment acceptance products (e.g., terminals, plugins, APIs) to enterprise merchants.
  • Collaborate with fulfillment, logistics, and technical teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products across digital and physical channels.
  • Build internal tools and merchant-facing dashboards to manage product inventory, provisioning status, and fulfillment updates.
  • Define workflows and support tools for digital product provisioning (e.g., enabling features, activating credentials, managing access tokens).
  • Design intuitive merchant onboarding interfaces that include guided product selection, add-on services, and pricing transparency.
  • Work closely with Sales, Channel Partners, and Operations to ensure the ordering experience is aligned with enterprise sales workflows.
  • Integrate catalog services and self-service portals to support automated product ordering at scale.
  • Ensure backend compatibility with payment switches, provisioning systems, and CRM/order management systems.
  • Own the post-onboarding servicing journey, including product changes, upgrades, issue resolution, and returns.
  • Design tools and interfaces for merchant self-service and support teams to manage servicing requests efficiently.
  • Implement data-driven servicing insights to predict issues and automate resolutions where possible.
  • Ensure servicing flows are compliant, audit-ready, and integrated with ticketing, CRM, and support systems.
  • Work closely with internal teams including Compliance, Risk, Sales, Legal, and Ops
  • Collaborate with third-party partners (e.g., verification services, bureaus, regulators)
  • Evangelize onboarding capabilities and processes to cross-functional and leadership teams


What we are looking for:

  • 5–7 years of Product Management experience, ideally in FinTech, Acquiring, or Risk/Compliance domains
  • Strong understanding of merchant onboarding, KYC/KYB, underwriting, and regulatory processes
  • Experience designing scalable onboarding journeys for high-volume or enterprise merchants
  • Strong collaboration with Engineering, Ops, Compliance, and Sales
  • Technical acumen to own API integrations and back-office tools
  • Track record of launching onboarding platforms with measurable business impact
  • Data-driven, with the ability to translate insights into roadmap prioritization
  • Strong communicator with experience presenting to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership
  • Passion for building frictionless yet compliant enterprise experiences
