About the Job:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Internal Audit Senior Associate to join our client's team and support various audit engagements across Advisory, Assurance, Tax, and Business Services. In this role, you will assist in managing audit projects, develop risk-based plans, and guide junior staff while ensuring compliance with internal controls. Working closely with stakeholders, you will analyze findings, recommend enhancements, and contribute to continuous improvement in audit processes. This role requires strong experience in operational and non-SOX audits, with the ability to handle ad hoc and mostly new audit processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing audit projects and compliance checks.
• Support operational and IT audits, including non-SOX and ad hoc engagements, with 95% of work involving new audit areas.
• Develop risk-based audit plans to ensure productive and effective audits.
• Mentor junior auditors and support their professional development.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to facilitate audit success.
• Analyze audit findings and recommend process improvements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the internal audit function.
• Demonstrate the ability to rethink, challenge the norm, and adapt to new processes.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Internal Audit.
• 3+ years of solid internal audit experience, specifically in operational and non-SOX audits.
• Strong experience handling ad hoc audit processes and the ability to work on mostly new audit areas.
• Some IT audit background or exposure is a strong plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Familiarity with audit tools, analytics, and visualization platforms is a plus.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, or CIFA are preferred.
