Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Interior Designer at Dexterton Corporation in Quezon City. The Senior Interior Designer will be responsible for space planning, architecture, construction drawings, interior design, and FF&E tasks on a day-to-day basis.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong design portfolio, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to lead projects from concept through completion. This role involves managing design projects, collaborating with clients, and mentoring junior designers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Lead and manage multiple design projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Client Interaction: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and translating them into innovative design solutions.
- Design Development: Create detailed design concepts, including space planning, color schemes, material selections, and furniture layouts.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure cohesive project execution.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior designers and interns, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Presentation & Documentation: Prepare and present design proposals, mood boards, and project documentation to clients and stakeholders.
- Trend Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging materials, and design techniques to incorporate cutting-edge elements into projects.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all design work adheres to company standards and client expectations, and conduct site visits to oversee project progress.
Qualifications
- Space Planning and Architecture skills
- Minimum of 5-10 years of professional experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating a range of completed projects.
- Proficiency in Construction Drawings
- Interior Design expertise
- Knowledge of FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment)
- Excellent creativity and design sense
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
- Relevant certifications or licenses a plus
