Senior Installation Design Engineer

Mission

Lead the design and implementation of complex installation projects. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions, ensuring designs meet technical specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.

Main Responsibilities

• Design Leadership: Lead the design of installation projects, creating detailed plans and specifications that align with client requirements and industry standards.
• Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and expertise throughout the installation process, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of design and installation efforts.
• Site Assessment: Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather data necessary for effective design and implementation.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during the installation process, providing timely solutions to minimize project delays.
• Documentation: Create and maintain accurate project documentation, including design specifications, installation manuals, and project reports.
• Mentorship: Provide mentorship and training to junior engineers and design staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Innovation: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovative design solutions.
  

Profile

Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field).

Desired Knowledge / Experience

3-5 years of experience in installation design engineering or a related field.

Strong knowledge of engineering principles, installation practices, and project management.

Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and simulation tools.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Professional engineering license is a plus.
