About the Role

Tribal is on an exciting journey to transform education through innovative cloud-based solutions. We’re looking for a Senior Financial Analyst – FP&A & Business Partnering (internally titled Business Functional Partner – Finance) to join our Global Business Services team and play a critical role in driving financial performance and strategic decision-making across the organization.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you'll serve as a trusted finance advisor to senior leadership—providing insights that support budgeting, forecasting, and business planning. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical acumen, a collaborative mindset, and the confidence to influence stakeholders across multiple business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver expert financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to guide business decisions
  • Partner with non-finance teams to deliver meaningful, actionable insights
  • Lead monthly financial reviews and variance commentary for cost centers
  • Collaborate with Commercial Finance to build annual budgets and rolling forecasts
  • Present results to senior leadership and act as the primary finance contact for assigned units
  • Drive continuous improvement and finance process optimization
  • Support internal and external audit requirements
  • Work with the Global Reporting Team to develop and enhance Power BI dashboards
  • Contribute to finance system upgrades, testing, and new tool implementations

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in finance (FP&A, commercial finance, or shared services)
  • Strong background in business partnering and presenting to non-financial stakeholders
  • Advanced Excel skills; ERP system experience (e.g., Dynamics 365); Power BI preferred
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and influencing skills
  • Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce or Kimble is a plus
  • CPA qualification (preferred but not essential)
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities and meet deadlines
  • Experience in transitioning processes from onshore to offshore teams

Desirable

  • CPA or equivalent professional qualification
  • Experience in a captive shared services environment
  • Sound judgment in financial methodologies and performance evaluation
