SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST
World Vision International
World Vision is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to report on investment and fundraising performance. The Senior Financial Analyst’s high-level analysis and reporting will be used by senior management for strategic decision-making as well as budget and operational planning to deliver the necessary revenue to achieve Our Promise, World Vision’s global strategy. This role will work with key stakeholders around the Partnership and equip individuals to report consistent metrics from an array of systems across offices.
This role will make a significant impact leading reporting and analysis of global marketing and fundraising performance, trends and return on investment to drive the revenue needed for achieving World Vision’s global strategy, focusing on helping the most vulnerable children and their communities overcome poverty in some of the world’s toughest places.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead analysis of financial performance and return on investment reporting of global product lines, brand, and campaigns.
- Lead analysis of global financial and marketing performance, and support team’s global reporting.
- Lead analysis of financial performance and return on investment reporting necessary for optimization of fundraising investment across the globe – a key Strategic Initiative of Our Promise.
- Ad-hoc projects related to Global Marketing and Global Finance, as requested.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field, with MBA preferred
- Advanced MS Excel (including PowerPivot) and MS PowerPoint skills
- Proficient in MS Power BI
- Experience with data consolidation and warehousing
- Understanding of the fundamentals of marketing
- Proven ability to develop complex financial analysis and then present it in a concise, impactful way to influence senior leadership
- Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in financial analysis or an equivalent reporting and analytics role focused on return on investment data and metrics
- Demonstrated ability to navigate uncertainty, build relationships and influence change in a complex, multi-cultural organization
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
- Certification or coursework taken in MS Excel (including PowerPivot and Power Query)
- Experience working in an international or cross-cultural environment
- Strong attention to detail and data review capabilities
- Experience working with financial related metrics and analytics in a marketing context
- Intermediate skillset in MS Power BI
Work Environment/Travel:
- The position requires ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 1-3% of the time.
