Our role is complex, and our work can be challenging - important work usually is. But your contribution will count and so will you. Can you work well in a team? Do you have experience in environmental assessment? Can you communicate with influence with a variety of stakeholders? If so, we want to hear from YOU.

  • Passionate, positive, down to earth people
  • Diverse, interesting work and experiences
  • Opportunities to learn, discover and grow
  • A collaborative, innovative environment

You'll have the following work skills and experience (which define what you can contribute professionally):

  • Proven ability to communicate with influence, to:
  • community groups
  • undertake negotiations to resolve complex matters and
  • manage stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capability in rapidly changing contexts.

You'll be part of a team of hard-working professionals in a genuinely welcoming, safe, and positive workplace. Here, we encourage one another to share our experiences so we can all learn, grow, and innovate. Working in Emerald, and in the challenging arena of coal mining regulation, you'll be well equipped for future progression opportunities across QLD
