Who are we looking for?

Our Environment group is seeking a Senior Environmental Impact Assessment Specialist to demonstrate technical knowledge and experience in Environmental Impact Assessment. The role should contribute to organisational development and performance of the team.

Primary duties include the following:

• Preparing and reviewing high quality reports such as environmental baselining and impact assessment and other research studies and documentations
• Participation in facilitating community consultations and other stakeholder engagement activities, review of technical reports
• Managing and demonstrating knowledge in the conduct of a local EIA (from social preparation to liaison with DENR-EMB for ECC release), and preparation and review of ESIA in accordance with international standards, Environmental and Social Due Diligence (ESDD) Assessments, Environmental monitoring reports and compliances.
• Required experience in preparing similar types of reports.
• Demonstrating knowledge and experience in preparing and reviewing reports in accordance with local PEISS and international guidelines and standards such as IFC PS, ADB SPS and World Bank ESF
• Project management, supporting project managers, and working with the project team to achieve outstanding project outcomes.
• Taking-up the project management role upon regularization
• Drafting proposals that demonstrate client focus and knowledge of best practice in the field of environmental management, EIA and ESIA
  
  

Qualifications:

• Tertiary qualification in environmental science and management, forestry, or other related natural or social science disciplines
• 5-10 years work experience in public and private development projects and consulting experience
• Should have familiarity with in-country EIA and international ESIA standards
  
  

This job offer can be based either in Makati, Quezon City or in our office in Cebu, depending on your home base / location.
