Responsibilities:
- Review, analyse and interpret processing instructions, applications, and work request correspondence from underwriters and agents.
- Provide rating and processing support for lines of business and multi-state accounts.
- Process underwriting policy issuance and amendments within established guidelines.
- Provide customer service support for underwriting assistants and underwriters, handling inquiries and requests with a high level of complexity.
- Work with underwriting assistants and underwriters to deliver timely and accurate products for multiple lines of business.
- Ensure underwriting policies are followed and referals/escalation matrix is applied when appropriate.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders.
- Maintain product, system and process knowledge.
Necessary Work Experience includes:
- Some relevant work experience.
- Policy administration experience.
- BPO experience with shifting schedules.
- Rating and processing experience.
- Data entry experience.
- Administrative support experience.
- Insurance industry background.
- Increasing levels of responsibility.
Necessary Qualifications include:
- Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Territory qualified.
