In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- To monitor and ensure the continuous operation of software systems and applications in the production environment.
- To identify and troubleshoot incidents and issues, taking proactive steps to prevent downtime or service disruptions.
- To perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues, collaborating with development and IT operations teams to implement long-term solutions.
- To investigate application errors, system failures, and performance issues to identify underlying causes and prevent future occurrences.
- To work with cross-functional teams, including software developers, IT operations, QA, and infrastructure teams, to ensure a coordinated response to production issues.
- To support the deployment of new releases, patches, and upgrades in the production environment, ensuring minimal disruption to users.
- To maintain comprehensive documentation of production issues, troubleshooting steps, and solutions for future reference.
- To participate in post-incident reviews (PIR) to evaluate response effectiveness and recommend process improvements.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or any Engineering degree with a programming course in the curriculum.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in production support, software support, or IT operations, with a focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution in a production environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Basic programming principles.
- Solid understanding of databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and experience with database troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies.
