Senior Accounting Analyst

About the Role

As a Sr. Accounting Analyst, you will manage and oversee daily and monthly Financial Control (Fincon) – General Accounting A2R and I2C Bank tasks and ensure that all monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports are completed accurately and on time. Administers and reviews transactions in Fixed Asset, Accounts Receivables, and other accounts.

How you'll contribute

• Manages and oversees General Accounting tasks and ensures that all monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports are completed accurately and on time.
• Reviews and approve transactions in Oracle for fixed asset/accounts receivables and journal entries on transactions handled by the unit.
• Performs month-end activities, closing and opening of the period in Oracle for Fixed Asset and Accounts Receivables
• Conducts monthly and quarterly reviews of HO units’ selected accounts thru MIBA (monthly independent balancing of accounts) to ensure the timely reversal of float items and disposition of long outstanding items.
• Performs lifting/holding of payroll accounts in FBEQ upon request of HRD and enrollment of newly issued MCs in FBEQ as per request of Fincon-DBU.
• Oversees the process review and improvement of processes assigned to the team.
• Reviews and updates the unit’s policies and procedures and related SLA periodically. Ensures that controls, policies and procedures, and related SLAs are observed and implemented accordingly.
• Ensures that audit requirements are submitted to internal/external audits including risk-related requirements like BCP manual, RCSA, and BIA.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree in any Accountancy/ Finance or any related field
• With at least 1 year of relevant experience is an advantage
