Senior Accountant (CPA)

Ubiquity is hiring for a Senior Accountant to consolidated financial statement preparation and reporting, general ledger accountability, preparing and recording journal entries, maintenance and monitoring of accounts receivable and accounts payable ledgers, payroll processing and compliance with laws and regulations, and other duties as they arise.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Intake of invoices and comparison to contractual terms
• Management of approval process for invoices
• Recording of invoices in Quickbooks online
• Reconciliation of detailed daily banking transactions (knowledge of bank accounting a major plus)
• Conversion of banking activity into P&L and Balance Sheet changes
• Working with outside accounting firm on audited financials
• Developing and delivering financial reporting to executive management

Ideal Candidates Have:

• Preferably a Certified Public Accountant
• US CPA is a plus
• 5+ Years of Accounting Experience
• Exposed to using ERPs - Quickbooks, Oracle, SAP
• Experience in Banking Industry is major plus
• Amenable to work on a hybrid arrangement
• Willing to work on graveyard shift
