• Conduct thorough security assessments and audits of both cloud infrastructure and applications to identify vulnerabilities and recommend actionable improvements.
• Oversee the operation, configuration, and optimisation of cloud security toolsets including CNAPP technologies to maintain a resilient security posture.
• Create detailed solution documentation for all aspects of cloud network security implementations, ensuring clarity for technical teams and stakeholders alike.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate security requirements into new projects and existing systems without disrupting business processes.
• Monitor compliance with relevant network security frameworks and regulatory standards, providing guidance on remediation where necessary.
• Troubleshoot complex network security issues in cloud environments, including configuration of security groups, network ACLs, load balancers, and related components.

• Extensive hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise-level cloud security solutions within large-scale organisations.
• Proven expertise working with Microsoft cloud security tools such as Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps and Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
• Demonstrated success deploying enterprise-grade CASB (Cloud Access Security Broker) solutions as well as CNAPP (Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform) technologies.
• Advanced skills configuring and troubleshooting network security elements including security groups, network ACLs, load balancers within diverse cloud environments.
• In-depth understanding of IAM (Identity Access Management) solutions with particular emphasis on Microsoft Entra ID or similar platforms.
• Exceptional application and network security risk assessment capabilities enabling identification of gaps in configuration or design before they become critical issues.
• Expert-level analytical abilities combined with a methodical approach to problem-solving in high-stakes environments.
• Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills allowing you to convey intricate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
