Role Overview
Broadridge is seeking a skilled IBM Safeguarded Copy Administrator/Engineer to oversee the design, implementation and management of Safeguarded Copy environments. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining data integrity and ensuring robust data protection via immutable copies of critical business data. This will require knowledge of the IBM storage solution, disaster recovery practices, and data backup strategies.
This role is essential in maintaining compliance and security standards and ensuring the resiliency of the organization's data backup and recovery processes.
Responsibilities
System Security
Manage and oversee security protocols on the IBM iSeries and Mainframe platform, including user access controls, encryption, and network configurations.
Safeguarded Copy Administration
Implement and manage IBM Safeguarded Copy solution to provide immutable backup copies of critical data. Ensure that copies are protected from unauthorized changes and are available for fast recovery in case of cyberattacks or data corruption
Vulnerability Assessment
Perform regular vulnerability assessments and security audits on iSeries and Mainframe Systems to detect and mitigate potential security risk.
Compliance
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations by maintaining accurate security documents and implementing necessary controls
Backup and Recovery
Develop, implement, and manage data backup and recovery strategies focusing on safeguarding business0critical information
Incident Response
Respond to security incidents and data breaches, proving timely analysis and recovery processes.
Patch Management
Ensure that all IBM System are up to date with the latest security patches and firmware update.
Collaboration
Work closely with the IT and Data management team to ensure the integrity and security of data backups, including safeguarded copies.

Your Profile
- Require Skill in System Administration of Compute Environment (VMware, Windows and Linux)
- Security & Compliance protocols
- Proficient with Recovery, High Availability HA technologies.
- Experience with system monitoring tools, security information and event management solutions
- Ability to troubleshoot complex systems security issues
- Experience with Recovery and business continuity planning
- Dell EMC Storage and VMware Snapshot Copy Setup and Configuration
- Data Protection and Recovery
- Data Protection of Distributed systems
- Immutable Backup Process and Air Gap Environment Management.
- Monitoring and Maintenance
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to response quickly to security incidents
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Detailed-oriented with a strong focus on system integrity and data protection
