Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Support submission of at least 4 peer-reviewed manuscripts in a 12-months period. Publication
  
  

support includes drafting high-level manuscripts, as well as, assisting with online paper

submissions and organizing responses from all authors to comments from journal editors.

• Collaborate with cross-functional team, including statistician, epidemiologist, and medical writer,
  
  

to ensure the accuracy and completeness of research studies and publications.

• Support medical writing analyses related to the health economics or epidemiology health-related
  
  

medical topics relevant to medical devices such sutures, surgical staplers, and other relevant surgical devices.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and regulatory guidelines related to health economics,
  
  

epidemiology, and medical devices.

• Review of documents and manuscripts focusing on the medical and epidemiologic soundness.
• Conduct and evaluate literature searches and analyze scientific literature pertaining to disease
  
  

natural history to understand inherent risks associated with the indication.

• Create and develop information in response to published scientific literature, news media
  
  

releases, or new or highly publicized medical discoveries or information.

• Contributes to research activities, via epidemiologic and scientific publications, in general and in
  
  

support of statistical risk assessment.

• Draft health economics/epidemiology manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed papers and
  
  

posters for submission to conferences.

• Conduct literature reviews and synthesis of findings from previously published papers.
• Review and evaluation of medical/epidemiological literature.
• Review and evaluation of draft epidemiological documents and manuscripts.
• Develop internal white paper on topics impacting efficacy or safety.
