To help continue our regional business trajectory, we are looking for a seasoned Regional Resourcing Specialist with strong stakeholder management, collaboration and operational skills to take on the regional resource management activities across Southeast Asia Consulting (headquartered in Singapore). The role will be based in the Philippines, PwC Philippines office or Malaysia, PwC Malaysia office
The role will be reporting to the SEAC Resource Management Lead and will be responsible for providing strategic and operational resource and demand management advice to the SEAC business leadership. The Regional Resourcing Specialist is required to collaborate closely with other SEAC resource managers and business teams, and build influential relationships with a diverse group of internal stakeholders to drive overall regional demand and supply processes as well as deliver daily operational excellence.

About the Role
Resourcing Manager (end to end, 300 headcount)
- Ensure that we have the right people booking the right hours on the right engagements at the right time:
- Ensure we have profit-optimising capacity, skills & capabilities to deliver our Client engagements
- Ensure time billed should match to plans and reflect actual efforts
- Resources to be prioritised for strategic engagements
- Keep resourcing plans updated and monitor actuals to forecast
- Ensure we have profit-optimising capacity, skills & capabilities to deliver our Client engagements
- Ensure billable hours and revenue are optimised through:
- Tracking that staff have booked their actual billable time to plan
- Addressing behaviors that compromise accurate forecasting, staffing and optimisation of staff utilisation
- Having accurate resourcing plans and staying connected on upcoming demands in the pipeline
- Working with Engagement Teams at pricing stages of opportunities to determine optimal resourcing options
- Strategically assessing skill demands versus supply and recommending solutions to address gaps (hiring, upskilling, cross-skilling, performance management)
- Ensuring there is updated information on the skills of our workforce, through updates to Skills Cloud, CVs or other methods
- Tracking that staff have booked their actual billable time to plan
- Effectively execute Resourcing activities, including:
- Work closely with Business Leaders (Partners and Directors) across Southeast Asia Consulting (SEAC) region on project staffing requests, prioritisation of requests, resolving staffing conflicts and addressing our consultants movement needs.
- Lead and participate in regular pipeline and staffing meetings with the business to discuss upcoming projects and resourcing demands.
- Raise insights to Business Leaders (Partners and Directors) on consultants utilisation forecasts and available capacity to ensure effective management and optimum consultant productivity.
- Ensure that staffing data in resource management systems are accurate and kept up-to-date reflecting true consultants availability across the region.
- Work closely with Business Leaders (Partners and Directors) across Southeast Asia Consulting (SEAC) region on project staffing requests, prioritisation of requests, resolving staffing conflicts and addressing our consultants movement needs.
- Consult and collaborate effectively within and across SEAC functional teams i.e. global mobility, human capital, operations etc. for cross-border engagements or to drive various operational initiatives.
- Take interest in the Consulting business by continuously networking and engaging with consultants and business teams to stay relevant and on point with peoples’ skills and capabilities.
- Degree from a university in Human Resources, Business Administration (or relevant) degrees, advanced degrees (MBA, and/or other Master’s Degree) viewed favorably.
- At least 7-9 years work experience in a leading international consulting firm or multinational companies in an area of resource management, operations, human resources, or related activities, project management and reporting.
- Proactive thinker and communicator - formation of ideas to improve the team and business, and ability to anticipate and communicate issues that may impact delivery of work.
- Confident in working with senior leaders, particularly Directors and Partners.
- Solution oriented and innovative - able to bring and suggest solutions, ideas and options for encountered problems/issues.
- Driven person, organized and capable of multitasking whilst operating in ambiguous situations.
- Comfortable with reporting and technical solutions, including Google Sheets, advanced Excel, PowerBI and data management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
