Safety Officer (Cebu-based)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Others) or equivalent.
• At least 1-2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field
• Certificate holder of Construction Occupational Safety and Health Training
• Proficient on preparing job hazard analysis reports, inspection/safety reports, and DOLE reports
• Knowledgeable in safety policies, implementation, hazard/risk analysis
• Skilled in preparing safety written report
• Knowledgeable in Safety Management System and EHS Statistics and Analytics
• Must be willing to be assigned to our project site, Kalea Heights, Good Shepherd Road, Banawa Brgy. Guadalupe, Cebu City.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspects worksites to ensure hazard-free environment
• Prepares hazard analysis of work methods and procedures
• Conducts toolbox meetings to ensure all tools and equipment are adequate and safe to use
• Reviews and approves all safety plans
• Evaluates risks of recognized hazards to determine priorities of corrective actions and levels of concern
• Provides assistance in implementing safety program corrective actions
• Conducts investigations of all accidents and near-misses.
• Promotes safety practices and enforces safety guidelines at the job site.
• Performs emergency response drills.
• Receives reports from and responds to orders issued by Department of Labor inspectors.
