Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks and routine inspections on mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment to ensure reliable operation.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures, root cause analysis, and propose solutions to mitigate future issues.
- Collaborate with reliability engineers to develop and implement reliability improvement programs, including equipment upgrades and process optimization.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure that all equipment is operating at peak performance and that any potential issues are addressed promptly.
- Implement preventive maintenance measures.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure equipment reliability.
- Recommend improvements to enhance equipment performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues.
- Order and maintain inventory of spare parts and tools.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Develop and update maintenance procedures and schedules.
- Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical support to other team members.
- Ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
- Report on maintenance activities and equipment status.
- Support emergency repair activities as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Proven experience as a Reliability Technician or similar role.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Proactive approach to maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
- Knowledge of root cause analysis techniques.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks and lift heavy objects.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
