Relationship Manager

1. Marketing and Loan Generation

• Market and generate loans according to the Bank’s target market segments and lending directions.
  • Prospect loan clients.
  • Conduct preliminary evaluation of accounts.
  • Validate the business.
  • Validate financial statements.
  • Prepare loan recommendations.
  • Present accounts for approval.
  • Monitor and nurture accounts.

2.Credit Evaluation and Recommendations

• As credit officers, RMs must make recommendations based on a thorough understanding of the client’s financial needs and conditions.
• Ensure loan applications undergo the required credit process, including:
  • Gathering adequate credit information to assess risks.
  • Performing credit investigation, collateral appraisal, financial analysis, and credit scoring.
  • Presenting all credit information, both positive and negative, to the approving body.

3.Documentation and Disbursement

• Ensure proper documentation for approved accounts:
  • Document and register the account.
  • Oversee the disbursement of the loan.

4.Account Monitoring and Management

• Continuously collect, monitor, and supervise accounts until full payment is achieved.
• Identify problem loans early and initiate remedial solutions:
  • Monitor early warning signals (EWS).
  • Implement EWS work-out solutions, such as amending terms, rescheduling payments, or restructuring accounts.
  • Transfer problematic accounts to the Remedial Management Department (RMD) for litigation if necessary.

5.Record Keeping

• Maintain complete and up-to-date credit folders.
