Job Responsibilities:

  • Train and develop Interment Supervisors to handle day-to-day interment concerns of the parks that they are assigned to supervise.
  • Ensure that MSC Interment Teams in the region consistently deliver the Forest Lake brand of service experience for interments.
  • Work with Regional Interment Officers in the other regions to ensure consistent delivery of the Forest Lake brand of service experience for interments in all parks across the country.
  • Ensure adherence and regular monitoring of service standards, procedures and policies for all interment services in the parks.
  • Work with MSC Interment Teams and interment service providers to ensure that recurring or persistent issues related to interments are addressed and resolved appropriately.
  • Monitors, analyzes and ensures the accuracy monthly of interment revenue reports.
  • Monitors and analyzes interment-related expenses to ensure cost effectiveness of interment operations.
  • Prepare monthly interment analysis reports to track performance of interments in the region vs targets, and to identify trends and emerging matters that may require tactical and strategic actions to be taken.
  • Recommend ways to improve cost efficiencies in interment operations.
  • Recommend to FLDI interment revenue targets and expense budgets, interment service improvements including required asset replacement and new asset acquisitions.
  • Work with Interment Supervisors to create, develop and update interment service packages and offerings to address the current and evolving needs of clients.
  • Ensure timely and appropriate response to customer service issues.
  • Work with the Interment Supervisors to ensure that the feedback gathered from the customer feedback system is considered and acted upon for continuing interment service improvements.

Job Qualifications:

  • At least Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Administration/Management, Psychology, or equivalent.
  • Must have at least 2 years of work experience in a people management role.
  • Must have at least 1 year experience working with teams in multiple locations.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to communicate empathy and compassion.
  • Service-oriented, flexible and able to relate with people from all walks of life.
  • Willing and able to be mobile in the region assigned.
