Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for multiple distribution sales teams in the assigned area
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize market share and revenue growth within the motorcycle and automotive product categories.
  • Lead the recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of high-performing sales representatives.
    Coach and mentor sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales targets, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Oversee pricing strategies and ensure competitive pricing for our products across distribution channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors and retailers within the motorcycle and truck tire industries.
  • Develop and implement effective sales training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns to promote our products to target markets.
  • Analyze sales data and reports to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions to optimize sales performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales leadership, with a proven track record of success in achieving sales goals.
  • Extensive experience in the distribution sales channel, preferably within the motorcycle and automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of the motorcycle and truck tire markets, including current trends and customer needs.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM (i.e. Netsuite)
