REFRIGERATION & FACILITIES TECHNICIAN

JOB SUMMARY:

1. To provide quality repair and PM activities and PM activities of all company chillers and other cooling equipment's and building equipment's

2. Improve equipment reliability and physical appearance to enhance company image.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. Ability to collect, analyze and interpret available data to make sound recommendations to immediate superior.

2. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

1. At least a graduate of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technical Course.

2. Holder of TESDA Certificate

3. At least 2 years experience in the repair and maintenance of refrigeration and air conditioning facilities.

4. Experience in building maintenance is an advantage.

BUSINESS UNDERSTANDING:

Good knowledge on the very essence of a proven preventive maintenance program in a cooling facility

TASK LIST:

1. Aware of the proven maintenance program on chillers, refrigerators and air conditioning units.

2. Knowledgeable in the electrical and building maintenance including minor plumbing and carpentry works.

3. Assist in the maintaining and updating of maintenance records of cooling and building equipment's by consistently consistently and accurately filling up work orders and checklists.

4. Helps conducts thorough diagnostic analysis of the equipment's received for demand repairs. Recommends to immediate superior the activities to be done to resolve the problems as well as the materials and other resources needed.

5. Knowledgeable in the latest technology in chillers and coolers.

6. Can perform assign task with minimum supervision.

7. Analyzes premature chiller breakdown/failures caused by improper usage, substandard materials or poor quality of work. Can further formulate /suggest preventive measures.

8. Can drive a motor vehicle for checking and monitoring cooling facilities at the company distribution centers

9. As the need arises, can be relied upon to conduct training and orientation on proper usage and maintenance of the cooling facility.

10. Perform any other job assigned by his immediate superior producing desired results.
