Job Responsibilities:
- Receives all products (direct imports and local purchases) delivered to a cold storage facility and ensures product quality and standards are met at all times (Inbound Receiving)
- Prepares Receiving Report and ensures all pertinent attachments are complete (product food safety documents i.e. COMI, Health Cert, etc. must be complete at all times)
- Prepares and handles all food safety documents (i.e. COMI) and all attachments prior to delivery (Outbound)
- Audits food handling practices by PFC team and audits PFC cold store facilities
- Leads and facilitates Customer Audit process of client of our Cold Store facilities
- Audits and recommends Process Flow improvements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Safety, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a quality assurance role within the frozen meat or food industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, GMP, GOP, HACCP, NMIS and quality control standards.
- Proficiency in data analysis and quality management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
